is there any way to reduce the risk of testicular cancer without getting checked up by a doctor?

There's really no way to reduce the risk of any cancer other than to live a healthy lifestyle. Even that is no guarantee ... but it helps if one is not smoking, not drinking excessively, have a healthy weight, have a healthy amount of exercise, etc. Once again, not a guarantee, but at least harmful things aren't a part of the equation.

It is my professional opinion as a doctor that to reduce the risks of testicular cancer, you must chop your testicles off. You can't get cancer in a body part you don't have.

testicular cancer is relatively rare.
None of the known risk factors for it are within your control - so no, there is no way of reducing your risk
