4.00gb but 2.00gb usable?
Hello everyone. So my pc has 4.00gb ram but I can only use 2.00gb. My integrated memory is disabled so it couldn't be shared? what could it be? please and thank you!
Oh yeah, im a 64-bit so I'm not limited to having 2gb or 4gb..
and I've disabled the integrated-VGA setting in the bios so its not my integrated GPU.

Sounds like it simply might not be able to read the card. Make sure you got the chip in there properly and check for compatibility. Worst case scenario you might need a full format but that usually needs to be done every 6 months or so , so I'd put it on your to do list if that's the case.

which version of windows do you have? if it's windows basic, it's limited to 2GB (32bit and the 64bit version)
