How many singer sing live at concerts?

Can someone give me an idea of how many singers sing live at concerts and are the voice that the audience actually hears? I am just interested in how pop concerts are manufactured as a product for sale. I don't mean the CDs I mean the actual concerts.

I am not an expert in pop concerts, but modern day, lip syncing is not a frequently occurring thing as far as I am concerned. It's too discernible. From what I have seen, pop concerts rely more on making the original vocals beefier. Often pop concerts (and in some cases many other genres too) will use backing tracks nowadays to add in all sorts of harmonies and backing vocal tracks to help beef up the singers sound, and voice effects are far more common now than ever before in a live setting, so though the singer will be the one singing it'll often have some form of pitch correction just to keep the shows rolling.

This said, some higher end performances (though they usually still make use of backing tracks) will have backup singers as well doing harmonies and stuff. These backing tracks will often also include percussion and other synths on top of the harmonies and such. Rap and hip-hop is particularly fond of backing tracks nowadays, where as opposed to bringing collaborators up on stage their parts will be played on a speaker.

Asides from that, I would look more into the marketing aspect of things to answer your "how pop concerts are manufactured" thing. Because to me, the real question there is how they manage to take what is on occasions the equivalent of someone singing karaoke with a lightshow (again, not all but some) and sell out the stage.

I have seen Tom Jones and Neil Diamond. They are still belting it out, which is why they are still in demand.
