If the first Crusades didn't stop the Islamic invasion, what would Europe and Christendom look like today?

In the U.S, (a Nation that's dislikes Catholics) everyone has been taught the lie about the bloodthirsty, rapist, murdering pigs called Christian Crusaders that plundered their way East and murdered hundreds of thousands of innocent Jews and muslims, but the "Muslim Crusades" started 300+ years before the Christian Crusades. They killed Christian and Jew on to their ultimate destination, Rome, where they would put up their golden dome of domination, as they are told to do throughout the entire world from their koran, on top of St. Peters square, "The Vatican." Muslims thought that anyone that wasn't muslim needed to be killed. Sounds eerily to the Nazis. The Muslims military was quite successful, even making it to Venice, Italy and Spain. The only reason why they were beaten back was because of the Crusaders... So if the Pope Urban II never assembled the army to protect the onslaught coming their way, would it change the face of the world? Would our world today look different and in what way?

Well...to be fair, it's not certain that the Crusades prevented Muslims from conquering all of Europe before the Age of Discovery.

    But it *is likely*.

The Crusades (and not only the First) united the military forces of multiple European nations in a war against the primary Muslim "aggressor" nations. Even those Muslim-targeted Crusades that were not successful in "reconquering" territory hindered Muslim conquest *significantly* - simply because Muslim forces were spent defending against a united multi-national army instead of conquering a national army that was *not* united with those of other nations.

I suspect that without the Crusades, all of Europe would be Muslim and Christianity would only exist in small pockets - such as in India and in some of the African and Middle Eastern nations that have a long history of Christianity surviving under Muslim rule. The European nations that the Muslim conquerors *held* for any significant time became predominantly Muslim rather quickly - and likely that would have happened throughout Europe.

Christian suicide bombers would be blowing up things in the middle east, and flying planes into muslim buildings.

It was probably one of the most pivotal events in human history. Had the 1st crusades failed it would have altered world history and changed the face of western civilization.

The muslims went very far north and had conquered Spain in the 8th century and held control of it until the 15th century. The crusaders were heroes standing up to the Genghis Khan-like muslim hordes

Sorry Gay, C/J/M do not have the same religion. As for what Europe would look like, wait 20 years and you'll know.
