Christians, does God ever ...?

Well, Yes I hear certain songs sometimes and I know that God is allowing me to hear it for a reason. I can hear another person say something that I should be thinking. Whether they are saved or not, he use them in my life. Sometimes when I am feeling sad, he let me hear a song that reminds me that he is always with me, no matter what.

So, yes, the Lord does speak to me in his own way when I need a hug, or some reassurance that I am okay, he gives me one. No signs, juts some little things to lift me up.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but is this seriously what you Christians mean when you say "god speaks to me" or "I have a personal experience with god"? THIS? I mean, it's great if you really like the song mate, but thank Mike's chair or whoever for that, not 'the holy spirit'.

You know, I've never noticed, but now that you mention that, I think God may use songs to speak, like speaking using the singer's body.
