Christians! What was it like coming out to your parents as Christians?

When you broke the news to them, how did they react?

Did they kick you out of the house or did they love you unconditionally?

You know that Christianity is the majority religion not only in this country but in the entire world, right? Also, most Christians are so because they were raised to be by their parents, and even if not it's still considered the norm so "coming out" is not typically an issue for them.

My parents threatened to kick me out the house if I were homosexual so in fear I self harmed and when they found out I told them and they were happy that it was just that not anything serious like bullying. My mum is a Buddhist and my dad is a Roman Catholic but they both responded well. Good luck!

Of course I knew it. It is one of the primary reasons I asked. They do not have to go thru the coming out, the acceptance or the ostracization
