I have to clean a room in an Hoarders house but I can't toss anything?

Ok so the house is small and there's a bunch of unnecessary crap that is in this tiny room. The whole family gets pissed if you toss something completely useless, even a pencil. There's nowhere for all of this crap to go and I don't know what to do with it all. All the places I can think to put it are occupied by useful things. Please help, I owe these people money and this is how we negotiated. I can't afford to pay them real cash. Meanwhile I have a job as well and my time is hard to manage, especially without having a license (which also makes things harder about getting rid of some of the stuff that is OK to get rid of *ex: a cancer wig that was not needed has to be taken to a cancer center.. i cant drive or bus* I just feel so cluttered without even having started much yet. The only solution is to get rid of all of it but I can't. Anybody dealt with this before? Help.

It is likely you made the mistake of causing yourself a major headache. You may try to reason that if you delivered each individdual item it would take so much time and effort and would not be worth what ever it was you are trading work for. They may let you leave it at a donation site for a charity? You would not have accepted the deal had you known?

The best isuggestion I can make is for you to box it all up for them. Make sure each box is full. Stack them high from cieling to floor. This may leave an extra amount of floor space they maybe happy with. (Since you have only thing s they demand be individually delivered which cost time and gas money that is worth more than what you are trading the work for). There was probably no way you could have known prior. Now all you can do is avoid accepting any offers of work or trade from them in the future. Boxes may be found for free behind retail stores and grrocery stores. Deconstruct the boxes (flatten) to bring on a bus if permitted? Bring a large roll of good tape for packing. Use some kind of clamp or twine to keep the boxes stacked during transport. Could you ask them to drive you to find the boxes? Don't ask. Just state you need some one to drive you to get boxes. Label the boxes for them too with a small list in marker on the outside in the upper left ot right corner.

It really is the best you can do.

Hoarder's house, and you know it? Don't take that job. No matter what you do, it will be wrong.
