Do your kids suffer with head lice?

Update:

We got possession of our 3 youngest grandchildren about 3 years ago. The first year was one case after another. I finally read on YA about using Coconut shampoo or conditioner to keep them away. The scent repels them. I've been doing this for 2 years now with 1 in daycare and 2 in school. No cases at all. It's cheap and effective. It won't kill them but after they are dead they won't come back.

Not so far (knock on wood!) but that's great that you have found a solution.

once in 15 years, and that was more than enough.

tea tree oil is often also used as a preventative, though it's something i'd hesitate to use long-term. we just are super-militant about not sharing hats, helmets, combs, pillows, etc.
