what are the flaws of the aristotle model of the universe and how did ptolemy's model correct these errors?
Both are based on a geocentric model so i assume that they mean flaws other than not being a heliocentric model.

Basically, Aristotle's model of spheres for the planets was pretty good, but it didn't account for the change in brightness of the planets and things, and it didn't explain retrograde motion of planets. By Ptolomy's time, they had introduced epicycles (and even epicycles of epicycles - see thier picture), which did a much better job. Took a lot of spheres and epicycles, though! :-)
