What would YOU like to see in an anime?

1) A good brothers anime(I'm talking like Gurren Lagann, full metal...etc). I am sick and tired of seeming big brother little sister...its time for some big sister little brother or just plain brothers.

2) For a strong, not annoying female lead...we need a damn anime katniss for crying out loud lol!! I love when females arent tied down by guys, lead, kickbutt, protect their own and do it in style!

3) In opposition, a male lead who isn't hindered by a girl. I personally hate 'save the girl' story arcs or complexes. so I'd like a strong, funny, confident, male lead who does what he wants because he knows its right...if that makes sense. I love shounen :)

4) A story that has absolutely no fanservice! I hate fan service, it steals away from the story-I'm talking about you 'Rail Wars' and countless others-its just terrible!

5) A unique story plot like Shingeki, outlaw star, cowboy bepop, ttgl, fmab, Pandora hearts. Something new!!

I agree with someone, additionally I would like to see:

- an important character that isn't a teenager

- Having the atmosphere blasted away (I don't even know why I thought of this)

- someone who uses the powers of maths to confound their enemies

- someone whos power level is always 50% greater than whoever they are fighting

I really like something that has a serious/humorous plot to it. Such as Fairy Tail. There always going through thick and thin, yet they always seem to make it through, with a few laughs on the way. I like magic, supernatural. It always seems to be my favorite. Not too big on horror, such as Elfen Lied. (I had nightmares) But i love anime with good art and music and a incredible plot. :)

- Traps that turn out not to be traps

- subversion of the harem genre--female cast, while they do not hate main character, do not fall for him (except main heroine).

- A non-"dere" heroine. Please.

- a main character that is never surpassed by the protagonist. It's ridiculous that only the protagonist has a will to get stronger while everyone else remains at roughly the same power level throughout.

- A protagonist that actually has a brain.

- No fanservice whatsoever.

- Depressing plot with a sweet/heartwarming ending (Like Madoka Magica, but less depressing of an ending)

- The protagonists are smart, weak, and/or timid.

It'd definitely be action, too. The main character guy, the one that I have in mind, would be a Martial- Artist.
