Where can a young person get a good credit card?
I just started building credit a couple months ago, and I have good credit (so to say) for a person new to credit (roughly 650). I want to get a credit card from a company where I can use it ANYWHERE, not just name stores, and that has a decent amount of credit line on it, maybe $500. What's a good place to start for someone young and wanting to build credit? Thanks

Unless you are employed full time & meet the qualifications for a card. . You will need to have a cosigner. Then apply for a card from the bank you use & have some history. At your age, any card you can get will do. Just remember, don't buy it if you can't afford it. A first card will never have a limit greater then $500.

Don't stress out about "building" credit. $500 means you could spend $500/month EVERY MONTH, WITH INTEREST. I doubt you can afford that already.
Go to your bank (if you have a savings/checking account). Ask for a credit (NOT a _debit_ card) tied to your account. Just pay off the amount in full when you use it. Remember, don't buy wasteful things; just use it when you need it. Eventually, the credit limit will grow on its own.
I have a credit limit that is so absurd it makes no sense at all, just because I spend my bill off every month.

You have to make sure you have enough income before you apply for any cards. Banks give you credit cards when your income is good enough even with no credit history. So let's say if you have $30k income and did not have any late payment history, it should not be difficult for you to get a small amount credit card like $1000 from those big banks like Wells Fargo.

If you have good steady monthly income and no late payment history than you can easily get credit card for small amounts. But before apply make sure that you have fixed monthly income to pay. If you have good income hen no problem. You can go ahead.
