Why am I running out of breath so quickly at the gym?
I got to the gym 4 times a week for weight training, and I have been going pretty consistently for over a year now. Unfortunately, Im starting to notice something weird happen to me while at the gym. Towards the middle of my workout (sometimes even in the beginning), I begin to lose my breath quickly, I get light headed, and sometimes I get pins and needles/tightness in my head, arms, chest and sometimes legs. Im an extremely healthy person, and I also make sure to eat right before, during, and after the gym. I eat enough carbohydrates/energy foods before the gym, wait the recommended hour and a half (usually), drink plenty of water at the gym, and eat proteins afterwards. I also stopped using my pre-workout which contained a lot of caffeine (I do still drink coffee and occasionally a redbull). My exercise routine cycles between light weight, high reps, and heavy weight, low reps, but the symptoms come roughly the same despite the weight I use. When I do leg exercises the symptoms intensify. At this point, I have no clue as to why this is happening. I was completely fine working out at any intensity before this started happening a couple of weeks ago. The last thing I will do is stop going to the gym, since it is a great stress reliever for me. Can someone help out? Thank you
4 AnswersDiet & Fitness5 years agoCan someone help me figure out weird sensation I had after leaving the gym?
I was driving home after a workout when I noticed something very wrong with me. I was getting a little light headed, and I stared getting pins and needles first in my head, then it moved down toward my torso and abs. After a couple minutes, it started to intensify into my arms and legs, so I quickly pulled over and started walking around. My whole body could barely function, and my hands had a death grip on my keys and I could not open them. After a few minutes, the symptoms subsided slightly, and I went to my doctors. I told him I had used a pre-workout supplement that day, which contains a lot of caffeine, and he came to the conclusion that it was that. But I always use that pre-workout, and never had I had a bad experience with caffeine. That day I was working out legs, doing squats and lunges. I noticed that when I would do lunges (in squat position with the bar on my back) I would get a small pain under my tail bone, and when I would rack the bar, my arms would be intensly tingling. So my question is, could it be the pre-workout that caused the stiffness and pins and needles, or could it have been something to do with the squatting and lunges? I highly doubt that it was the pre-workout since I use it all the time, thanks
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness5 years agoWhat is a good exhaust system for a 2006 eclipse GS coupe?
I want to throw a nice exhaust system on my eclipse, but Im debating over a few things
- Do I want a catback, or full out exhaust (headers to tip)
- What brands are the best price and quality wise?
I was looking at a magna flow cat back, but it is $600, and I dont know how good magna flow is, plus I was thinking that theyre may be something cheaper out there. I just need some suggestions based on those 2 questions, thanks!

1 AnswerPhotography6 years agoOBD Code P0431 on 06 Mitsubishi Eclipse?
My 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse is reading the code P0431 (Warm Up Catalyst Efficiency Bank 2 Below Threshold) What exactly does this code mean? I read online that it obviously has to do with the cat, but it also could be due to a bad O2 sensor. The Service Engine Soon light came on, and about a week later went away, then a day after that went back on again. I can heard my exhaust make a rattling/ticking noise around the front of the car, and actually had a friend mention that it might be a cat problem, so I am guessing that is the problem. How long could I go without fixing this until it becomes a problem? It started 2 weeks ago, but I just had a chance today to take a look at it since I've been busy. Just need some clarification, thanks!
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs6 years agoCar stuttering?
While driving the other day my car began to stutter like it was about to shut off. It idles high and low, and shakes. While acceletating, the car doesn't move much and gets to a point where it doesn't move at all. I've changed the o2 sensor and all 4 spark plugs, and nothing. The codes I'm getting on the OBD are p0132, p0300, p0302, p0303, and p0304. The description of the codes talks about the cylinders misfiring, which is why I changed the spark plugs, but nothing. Can't seem to figure out what else it could be, need help please, thank you
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoMy car stutters while idling and accelerating?
I was driving my car today when all of a sudden it began to stutter, first while idling, then while accelerating. When at a complete stop, the car idles high and low, and stutters like it's about to shut off. While accelerating, it stutters, and barely moves, then gets to a point where it doesn't move at all, and I have to shut the car off. It's a 5 speed manual, and I have had to change the O2 sensor for a while now, so my only idea is it's that. Any other possibilities it could be doing this?
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoWhere can a young person get a good credit card?
I just started building credit a couple months ago, and I have good credit (so to say) for a person new to credit (roughly 650). I want to get a credit card from a company where I can use it ANYWHERE, not just name stores, and that has a decent amount of credit line on it, maybe $500. What's a good place to start for someone young and wanting to build credit? Thanks
4 AnswersCredit7 years agoHow can I build muscle and weight effectively?
I've been going to the gym regularly for a couple months now, and I've noticed some strength build up, but I feel as if I got to a point where I either can't build anymore muscle, or I'm not working out efficiently. I usually go for about an hour, and afterwards drink a protein powder mixed with milk. When I don't go for a long time and I go back, I feel soreness, but only for a couple of times after that. Whenever I try to do an exercise on a specific muscle ( like bench pressing for chest ) a lot of times I feel absolutely no soreness or tightness in my chest, and only my arms hurt while I'm exercising. I'm not sure if I'm using the wrong weight in accordance to my strength, but I've tried heavy weight and light weight, and still I feel no "progress" so to say. What is an effective way to work out? I am looking to build muscle and weight. Thank you
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness7 years agoWhat stores sell tail light bulb sockets?
I'm doing a tail light conversion on my civic and I need 2 turn signal sockets. A lot of places sell the bulbs I need but so far only the dealer sells the sockets, and they're kind of expensive ($30 for both) I was wondering if anybody knows places other than the dealership that sells SOCKETS for tail lights? Thank you
3 AnswersHonda7 years agoWhere can I get tail light bulbs?
I'm getting new tail lights for my 2001 honda civic and I need 04-05 civic turn signal bulbs to fit into the new tail light. Other than a dealer ship, is there any other place I can get the bulbs for cheaper?
4 AnswersHonda7 years agoFixing my brake efficiently?
I have a 2001 Honda civic coupe LX. When I bought the car, the brakes were a disaster waiting to happen. I ended up changing the front rotors, brake pads, and rear shoes. I need new drums in the rear badly, so I was thinking whether or not I should buy new ones, but my question is how much improvement will I receive if I change both the rear drums? Nothing inside where the shoes are located, just the outside drum where it comes off. I would imagine that it would improve the brakes performance significantly, I just want to be sure before I do this, thanks
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoIs my right rear wheel bearing bad?
I have a 2001 Honda civic coupe LX. I was driving yesterday when my right rest tire started making a clicking/clacking noise while driving. As soon as the car starts to move , the noise starts. I researched and I found that it could be my wheel bearing. I jacked the car up, and spun the tire and it made the exact same noise as it did yesterday. Is that the wheel bearing causing the noise? Please help, thanks
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoWhat amp installation kit do I need?
I have an amp and sub I want to install, but I don't know what wires to buy to install them? Searching for wires, I see it mentions a lot about gauges, my amp had 4 AWG for "power wire gauge", and for "speaker wire gauge" is 8 AWG. It's also a 1 channel amp, I am just a little confused on how to buy wires to install them, thanks
2 AnswersCar Audio7 years agoWhat sub would go good with this amp?
I bought a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D 1 channel amp, 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms, and 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms. I found a set of Rockford subs too, the Rockford Fosgate R1-2X10 10" dual loaded that runs at 400 watts RMS at 2 ohms. I was thinking that would be a great set up, but what are some other subs I could use with this amp that would give me some good bass? Thanks
2 AnswersCar Audio7 years agoWhat sub would go good with this amp?
I bought this amp on eBay
251507239104 (item #)
I want to know what kind of sub would go good with that, I was thinking of buying this one here
351032875910 (also the item #)
So the stats for the sub say it runs at 2 ohms at 400 watts RMS, and the amp runs at 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, so would that be a good combo? Jot down your ideas, thanks
1 AnswerCar Audio7 years agoIs this a good amp and sub set up?
I am looking at an amp and sub
Amp: Kicker
800 watts max
RMS Power Rating (14.4V):
4 ohms: 50 watts x 4 chan.
2 ohms: 100 watts x 4 chan.
Bridged, 4 ohms: 200 watts x 2 chan.
Total RMS power output: 200 watts x 2 chan.
Sub: Rockford Fosgate 10"
800 watts max
400 watts RMS
Just some basic stats on them, I'm looking to buy a sub and amp but I have little knowledge on them, so I was wondering if that would be a possible combo. I was thinking of buying something cheaper (it's about $300 together) but I want something powerful, and that I can have for a long time. Do you think this is a good move? Thanks
3 AnswersCar Audio7 years agoHow do I go about buying an amp and subwoofer for my car?
I have a pioneer radio, and 4 brand new pioneer speakers, and I want to buy an amp and subwoofer so I can get some good bass and sound in my car. What I want to know is, how the hell do I look for one? Do I need to know how many watts my radio is? How many watts my speakers can take? Like what the hell do I do? My friend has an 800 watt amp and sub in his car and it sounds really nice, so I want to get at least that, but I have no clue as to if I can even buy that, can someone please help me? Thanks
1 AnswerCar Audio7 years agoHow would this exhaust sound?
I was thinking recently and I was wondering how this set up would sound?
-2.5" Catback exhaust with a 2.5" (Inlet/outlet) 28" length glasspack thrush.
I have an 01 Honda Civic and I took off a resignator and put a huge *** tip (Might be 3-4 inches) and its pretty loud, but the reason why I just took the resignator off was because my 2" piping couldnt fit the thrush. But I was thinking, if i bought a cat back exhaust that is 2.5", and put the 2.5" thrush on, how loud would it be? Any one from experience or good knowledge, would it still sound nice too? Because i wouldnt want the combination of the two to make an ugly noise. Just wondering! Thanks!
