I'm looking for an old terraforming game. You would be given one single planet, and you'd have the choice of your size of planet.

You would terraform the planet by clicking on it. Every few seconds you would get some credits to terraform the planet, but clicking on it would be more productive.

You would have to start off by adding water and plants, and eventually move up to animal life, human life, create cities, temperature-regulated cities (if the population was large enough), and so on.

This game was not SimCity, Spore, or Civilization. You did not interact with other people, but the game was browser-based.

Does anyone know the name of this?

Do you find that television and the internet are wearing down your local or regional accent? Is one having more of an effect than the other? Are you noticing a change in your community depending on who is exposed to multimedia as opposed to who is not?

I'm in the USA, and I would like to watch Cricket games. I just have basic Cable TV -- so I can't access it via television.

If it's limited to the UK-only, I wouldn't be able to access it.

I've noticed on street signs (and even on other objects like plastic poles for underground cables), there are small black tape strips, maybe 2 inches long.

What's the purpose of these tape strips? Why are they there? Are they all over the USA? I'm in NC.

My HOA president showed me how to shut off the dry sprinkler system in case we had a broken pipe somewhere. I thought this was suspicious, as the last time we had a broken pipe (and the floors were flooding) I asked the fire department if we were able to shut off the valves ourselves, and the fire department specifically said, "No."

Are we in fact allowed to shut off the dry sprinkler system in the event of a broken pipe, or should we just let the floors flood like they happened last time? We do have insurance.

I don't feel comfortable doing this.

I am trying to clean up my neighborhood of drug dealers' and homeless people's junk. However, apart from the clothes, needles, tarps, etc., I keep finding little "markers" in various places. For example, a plastic bag tied around a tree, a "CAUTION" ribbon tied around a stop sign or a utility pipe, a pamphlet jammed into a utility pole, and so on.

I keep removing them, and they reappear. Has anyone else had any experience with this? What is the best way for dealing with this?

Are they trying to crush their credibility even more?

I'm a guy, and I want to put my hair in a ponytail. It's long enough to do so, and I have elastic bands I want to use for this.

The problem is, I have unusual hair in the front of my face for some reason that doesn't behave with the rest of the ponytail -- it seems to be shorter than the rest of my hair and forms two separate strips that hang down on either side of my face. My hair has all been growing since my head was completely shaven. Why is this? What can I do to make these "strips" behave and go away?

It is similar to, but not as pronounced as, the strips in the photo below.

I want to watch the Bahrain Formula One race, but I can't even see it listed on my TV listings anywhere. (I'm in the USA, where we haven't even heard of "Formula One", or we think it's some kind of soft drink.)
