How much stronger are men physically than women?
Let me just add that i saw a comment on 9GAG (most sexist website on the internet) that 90% of all men could beat up a group of women on their own.
also the comment had more than 2000 upvotes.

Lifting strength in the upper body about 40 - 50% weaker naturally, otherwise about 30%, you can get a good average by looking at bench presses a man or woman could do without weight training, in terms of upper body lifting thresholds then it's massive. (the potential for strength development, the limit)
A lot of female power lifters average bench press max's that are what average guys can do for example 90kg.
The threshold for men upper body wise is generally double that of women's, in other areas it's 60% more I'd say based off powerlifting.
In other lifts there is still a big gap, and in other strength exercises like pushing pulling carrying, in explosive power, it all varies and it's hard to measure those.

Yeah men are stronger and it's mostly a matter of bone structure. The structure of the male body is more conducive to lifting more weight and other kinds of physical labor while the female body is structured to fit the role of mother and wife. It is neither a good thing or a bad thing, it just is. It also points out why ancient humans naturally established those roles as it made the most sense. Whether one guy could beat up a group of girls depends largely on who the guy is, who the girls are and who is more aggressive.

The experiment has been done many times... men are physically stronger than women, period. Testosterone, appears to be the major reason & it is probably the reason women live longer than men too. I can't give the exact percentage of extra strength per weight, but it is significant.

"Studies have proven again and again that men have a greater amount of skeletal muscle than women. In one such study that examined 468 men and women and was published in a 1985 issue of the 'Journal of Applied Physiology,' researchers determined that men had an average of 72.6 pounds of muscle compared to the 46.2 pounds found in women. The men had 40 percent more muscle mass in the upper body and 33 percent more in the lower body."
"Men not only have more muscle, but pound for pound, their muscle is slightly stronger than a woman's -- about 5 to 10 percent, says Lou Schuler in "The New Rules of Lifting for Women." A study reported in a 1993 issue of the "European Journal of Applied Physiology and Occupational Physiology" attributed this strength difference to larger muscle fibers in men."

When we can push a human being out of our bodies, we can consider ourselves stronger.

I think a fairly strong man can outmatch three regular girls, since he cold throw around them easily while they would have a hard time moving him.

strictly speaking men are not really stronger than women they are bigger than women, so it depends on the sizes between a particular man or woman
being a better boxer is not simply being in a higher weight division
