Do cats have brains?

"Do dogs have brains? I mean they walk but thats because we are telling them to walk. Like if I told my computer to turn off it would."

Why wouldn't cats have brains? I'm not even sure if your trolling or if it's just your ignorance. But otherwise speaking cats do have a brain, otherwise it would be an inanimate object, like lets say paper, it wouldn't do anything unless someone manipulates it. But when you think about it you saying the cats don't have brains is like saying that someone with a physical or mental problem doesn't have a brain because they are limited to a condition they have on what they can do. Another way to put it is like someone could suggest that a person doesn't have a brain because they don't know how to use proper grammar, and such. But that doesn't mean they don't have a brain because if they didn't they just wouldn't do anything, they'd be forever in the same position unless they were modified. SO CATS DO HAVE BRAINS!

if cats didnt have brains then they would just lay there. never open its eyes, never eat, never lick its nose, nothing. just lay there. they'd be alive though if they had a brain stem
