Good Martial Arts Anime

Well, not particulary in this order: 1.) Ranma 1/2 2.) Touch 3.) Bamboo Blade 4.) Prince of Tennis 5.) Slam Dunk 6.) D-ASH (it's mature, but I thought it showed the sport really well) 7.) Kagetora 8.) Dragon Ball 9.) Yawara 10.) One Piece (it's still considered martial art, and I love it!)

Try the animè-movie "Streetfighter 2". That's perhaps the best kung fu anime ever. No, it's not a sequel. They just added the number 2 cause it's based in the old computer game Streetfighter 2.

Avoid the anime-movie "Streetfighter Alpha". It doesn't contain kung fu-scenes, just flashes of light, as you said. And the plot is confusing.

You could check out the "Virtua Fighter" TV series, or the anime-version of "Crying Freeman". I haven't seen these, though.

Japan has rarely produced martial arts anime, and those few movies that have been made, were produced mainly for the western marked. It's sad. They should produce kung fu/karate-anime more often!

If you count The last air bender as anime thats the best, it has beautifull fighting secuences
