Is "wanting to go to college" to broad of a goal?

Ok, so for homework in have to come up with a really good and meaningful goal. Im a really good student so nothing to MAJOR to improve. School has only been in for 3 days and so i dont know 100% of whats going on in my classes, so not much goals there. I dont do sports so no goals there (im not gonna do sports). Im gonna do a few clubs, but there arent really goals for that.

Health, i guess i could cut a few pounds, but I've tried (probably not hard enough) and i didnt loose weight, just gained muscle and i rather not have loosing weight as a goal bc i would get bad remarks from other people of them saying "oh, ur not fat" and stuff like that. (I mean im not big, but im like 7 lbs over weight, so i could shed a few lbs) So health isnt an option.

I wanna go to college somewhere in washington, but im still undecided on what career i want.

So is "i want to go to college" too broad of an answer? Or maybe i should figure out what i want to be?

Oh and im in 8th grade, sure it helps to start goals (for collage) early cuz u know what classes to do in highschool, but im one of the people who rather just try to live life a happy as can be. So goals for collage r far down the road.

Update:

And if u can come up with any goals for me plz tell me!

Update 2:

Its just for writing goals, and all great ideas! Thx :)

Trust your intuition. I agree that I Want To Go To College is too broad a theme. Is this for a topic essay?

Moving Through the Dietary Minefield for Teens might be a topic that your peers (and teacher) would embrace. Many people know little or nothing about the important subject of Pubertal Insulin Resistance, after a brief discussion of PIR highlight dietary choices that create the minefield - sugary and starchy foods during teen years, and follow up with how to make healthier dietary choices. Just a thought.

You are too young to cut weight, instead make it a goal to do a "fast walk" 30 to 45 minutes a day. Thats a great habit to get into and will be a lifelong thing.
