My brother (whos slightly younger than me) told me that kids ask him if he wants to be a "redneck Asian" without a reply, they slap him on the back of his neck.

I thought it was because he was homesick and that the teachers are bad at their job and are just so far behind, but the main reason why he his always down is because everyone is negative towards him. It just slipped out of his mouth, I didn't know how to react but I kept telling him, highschools gonna be great. I don't even know if the kids know what theyre doing, but it just makes me so mad that kids can be so sick.

My family and I are in a new area and so we go to new schools in the south. The kids at my brothers middle school are just rude and do not care. Other families new to this region have even thought of these kids as disrespectful & careless. Most of the kids are rude and mannerless all throughout the school day, and don't even try in school.

According to everyone and statistics on websites, the schools in my town are supposed to have the smartest and nicest people in the region. I can see that with my highschool, but I don't know what happened to that batch of kids in my brothers middle school.

So back to my brother, though he is not diagnosed, the poor guy is already depressed from leaving his greatest friends and he's a shy and reserved type of person, so it's hard for him to make friends. He's always got the saddest, mopy looking face. The only time I see him happy is when he's texting his friends.

Like for real, I see that most questions never get answered

I'm running for freshman class president. Im new to the school so not all the freshman even know I exist... I signed up for class president because no one signed up for the position and the last day to sign up was soon after. And I just wanted to be involved in school. I don't really care if I win or not, I just want a great presentation as my first impression to others.

But now I got 2 girls who are also running. So far, none of them have advertised their campaign. And on Thursday (2 days from now) we present in front of all the freshman.

I've been talking to different people in my school in different grades and they all gave me good advise. Like eye contact and speak clearly, but I need more of a pep talk.

When I present I'm usually a confident speaker if I am confident in my work. But they gave us such short notice about making the speach.

I'm comfortable talking infront of groups up to 30 people, but I've never presented infront of 150. And I'm usually shy infront of people I don't know. It was too late for me to back out and I saw my competition and they seemed like average people (I mean like not Queen Bee of the class).

A part of me is scared and wishes to get sick that day, but another part of me sees it as an opportunity for a learning experience and to put my self out there and actually have those in my grade level know I exist (I've got only 2 classes with freshmen)

So I need a pep talk and advise on what to put in my 3 minute speech.

I've read To Kill a Mockingbird and I am supposed to find diction. Now, there are different websites that give examples but give me different answers, the most common one I get is that diction is "the use/choice of words" is this correct?

I just need a better understanding.

And also, can sensory imagery be just ONE sense not all 5 or not even 2?

I want to take a geometry class over the summer to get ahead and jump right into algebra 2 when I start highschool. I would have to do it online not in a school because I'm moving over the summer and yeah. So how much does it cost and how long does it take to finish the course?

I don't mean this to be offensive or mean in any way. This question just popped up in my head. Like once there was this very nice girl who was only being very nice because she wanted people to think of her highly (so she was being selfish and originally wasn't the nicest). And I'm sure you guys can come up with more examples along that line. But why is this?

My friends and I want to take a picture with Santa. Yes, it sounds childish, but we took a funny photo last year with when we where christmas shopping, and we want to do it again. The problem is, we don't remember what day that was. I live on an island, so Walmart is the only store in my town that takes free pics with Santa.

What day and what time does picture taking take place?

Is it more than one of the x/y axis, or is it just one category of data collected?

Ok, so for homework in have to come up with a really good and meaningful goal. Im a really good student so nothing to MAJOR to improve. School has only been in for 3 days and so i dont know 100% of whats going on in my classes, so not much goals there. I dont do sports so no goals there (im not gonna do sports). Im gonna do a few clubs, but there arent really goals for that.

Health, i guess i could cut a few pounds, but I've tried (probably not hard enough) and i didnt loose weight, just gained muscle and i rather not have loosing weight as a goal bc i would get bad remarks from other people of them saying "oh, ur not fat" and stuff like that. (I mean im not big, but im like 7 lbs over weight, so i could shed a few lbs) So health isnt an option.

I wanna go to college somewhere in washington, but im still undecided on what career i want.

So is "i want to go to college" too broad of an answer? Or maybe i should figure out what i want to be?

Oh and im in 8th grade, sure it helps to start goals (for collage) early cuz u know what classes to do in highschool, but im one of the people who rather just try to live life a happy as can be. So goals for collage r far down the road.

Im a teenage girl and i am overwhelmed with halloween ideas! Ok, so i was thinking about being a zombie princess, but i dont wanna make the mistake Caddy Heron made by dressing up at a scary ugly @$$ thing (mean girls scene btw) i sorta want to look, well hot but not slutty, so i guess u could say a good looking impressive costume that wont scare away the guys and parents!

So if i do the zombie princess ill try not to make my make up TOO scary. Ok, i got medium length hair (2 inches below the shoulder) and lightish, tannish colored skin (cool and warm colors work on me except yellow! -well i really havent tried yellow) so what princess should i be? It doesnt have to be disney, it could be from a video game, or just a famous female character like red riding hood.

So which princess? And any other costume ideas? I prefer it not to be scary but something good looking, or fun with makeup!

I got into my first argument with them over this because last year we were shadow hunters (demon killers). So i mean its pretty much the same thing! -just with a dark skirt, crown, and different weapons. But i dont want that cuz its not recognizable at all! The only ppl who recognized shadow hunter were da ones who saw da runes. U would think they would be biker princesses or something, but they dont see that, i tried to comprehend with them, where some could be the killers while others should b zombies, but they still said no.

Ive been best friends with them for a long time, and i only have one year left with them until i move, so this is r last group costume theme. We never fight(mainly cuz im easy going and just agree)but i just have to stickup for myself on this one cuz, i have been wanting to wearing a zombie princess costume.

So i attempted to dye my hair as a blonde ombre (i have brown hair.). The first time i dyed it, it was too dark of a blonde, two days later (right now) i dyed it again now im super mad cuz i thought dubble coating my hair would make it lighter than the rest, but it did nothing for me, so all the hair on the top part is blonde! And really crappy/patchy looking (cuz some parts i also dubble coated) especially the top front part withc is really blonde, and it looks horid! I used a garniar hair dye and if ur wondering if it works, well it does! Just dont dubble+ coat it, i spent 2 hours waiting to see if it would change a color, it did not, and i gave up.

So now i wanna just chop my head off because of how bad it looks. My mom is totally PO'd at me and isnt giving me any support at all. So now im really scared to redye my hair cuz im pretty sure itll still be uneven cuz some blonde spots would turn really light brown while others might/not just be the brown i want, and i really dont need to cry about messing up my 3rd dye.

Where i live, well r hair cuts r like the most expensive in the US (its like $75 just for a normal hair cut!). Yah, so imagine dyeing my hair, plus the customers that walk out of the salons that we have, well, lets say its not worth the $75.

So mainly, how do u get permanent hair dye out of ur hair ASAP????!!!???

The multiplayer, squads, and extinction do not open. I would click on it and the tv becomes black for a few seconds then the xbox restarts. Ive tried this on other accounts and it still didn't work. The campaign works (it opens, i just haven't tested it out to see if it works)

Its a downloaded game, NOT a disk. I have deleted it and downloaded it again, but that didn't work.

Im half caucasian and half Asian and im totally cool with mixed raced families (and any kind of race) But what do you think? And do you think media should be showing more interracial families? -like the Superbowl Cheerios commercial. -just curious what everyone else thinks...

Well i was at lunch, and my friend stole my juice pouch and stabbed the hole part with the straw and took it out. Idky she did this, it was very random for her to take it out, but she was GOING to put the straw back in and drink it. (I let her bc i wasnt going to drink it anyways). And heres the really gross part! A tanish pink thing came out of the hole!!! It was the average size worm (at least in diameter) that u would find in ur garden.

Everyone at my table started freaking out, even the guys. And we are in the 7th grade, you'd expect us to be more mature.... Prob not, but i have a wormaphobia -if thats even real. Well i threw the juice pouch into a paper bag and told someone to throw it away. He looked into the bag and got really grossed out and so he did.

I didnt know what to do, and after it was thrown away, i wanted to take a picture so bad so i could sew the company, but then i realized, they might've just given me more of their product -which i will never drink again. And i didnt have my phone on me, bc no phones r aloud to be used in school. And when i looked up this online (i didnt even mention the company) but, 90% of the articles had the same problem with the same brand!

Lolz, it was really gross and im thankful i let my friend take the juice pouch bc i would've gotten worms or something, or died of grossness.

What if i sewed/told the company? What would happen?

And so, after my long story, has anything gross happen to ur food before?
