Is the UK at risk of a some sort of civil war situation?

Given that the terrorist attack threat level has recently been raised to "severe", is the UK in danger of a nation wide disaster? tension and fear has risen in the UK a lot over the last decade, with British people often blaming terrorist attacks that are carried out by Islamic extremists on the entire Muslim population. Is it only a matter of time before organisations like the EDL and "Britain First" become militant and launch real attacks against the Islamic people?

I find a lot of people blame the government for not responding with serious action to previous terrorist attacks ever since 9/11. Since the public transport bombings of 7/7 and various other threats, more and more people are becoming hostile towards Muslims in general and are failing to make the distinction between Islam and extreme Islam. Given that there are now hundreds of Jihads (not sure if that's correct spelling) on the loose in the UK after coming back from fighting in the IS, I fear that the raised threat level is genuine and that if there is some sort of terrorist attack, it may lead to fighting on the streets targeted at Muslims.

Do you think that this could happen? Is it only a matter of time before members of the general public take things into their own hands and target innocent Muslims? No one can deny that the government seems to be very bad at responding to this sort of thing.

Also, if you are a Muslim in the UK, do you get targeted by people because of this?

I agree with what you say, it's a feeling I've thought for a while, particularly after the lee Rigby incident the likes of Britain First gained huge popularity via Facebook and it became very apparent from seeing comments and such floating around Facebook about much anti Muslim sentiment there now is in the UK. Most of it being "we'll they're all the same" . Personally I don't believe that however I do believe that should another incident happen on UK soil then it will be the breaking point for MANY and people will begi taking matters into their own hands. Civil wat I doubt, but a large amount of unrest and I suspect many Muslims will come under attack. It's a sad reality but I do believe that unless this extremism is dealt with better, it's going to get harder for Muslims to live here.

This is a very laid back country that has fought huge wars in the past. ISIS will lose eventually, but I suspect there will be other on home soil attacks coming which will lead to severe consequences to the moderate Muslims of this country. Until this is dealt with harshly we're all in for a bumpy ride which only fuels the hate.

"Since the public transport bombings of 7/7 and various other threats, more and more people are becoming hostile towards Muslims in general and are failing to make the distinction between Islam and extreme Islam".

That was partly the intention of attacks being staged using patsies who were fooled into believing that they were taking part in terror drills as actors .

The holding of those terror drills at the very stations bombed was officially confirmed BTW. Howzda for hubris?

It's all divide and conquer to keep the masses off the right trail.

The likes of the EDL in particular have government psy-op written all over them.

The biggest "terror threat" is from another false flag attack such as 7/7. But even if they don't stage one, they've hyped up the masses to fear/resent every Muslim they see.

Social division helps to alienate as does the whole distraction in international affairs such as the Ukrainian crisis.

Don't believe the hype, the Western economic system is not in good shape. The Elites want everybody concerned about the wrong things.

They certainly don't want enough of the public unified and aware of their role in the coming social and economic mess.

There really isn't a disctinction between Islam and extreme Islam. They both believe in the same gods and rules, it's simply the followers that distinguish themselves from one another. Religion has a way of tearing things apart.

I don't think good people will attack muslims in general for the actions of a few radicals. Unfortunately, I empathize with people that steer clear of islamists. Unless I new the family very well, I would not let my children spend lots of time with a muslim family. I am willing to end my stereotyping, when muslims stop blowing each other, and us, up.

But again, most people are reasonable like me. They, like me, understand that although most Jihadists are muslim, not all muslims are jihadists. Most people won't start attacking and killing muslims. That makes us no better than them. A greater concern, would be the fact that the cooky jihadist nutbags, have managed to turn people into jihadists like them.

You are right but don't you think that the good law abiding Muslims should do something and teach the bad ones the good Islam. I don't blame people for supporting the EDL and Britain first because when you see signs that say [sharia law for Britain] it does worry you.

    Side note:

I hope UKIP WINS in Clacton and they will because the polls showed that UKIP are on 64% which is a landslide victory.

I agree with much of what you say.

But I don't think it will be Civil War.

I think if we have one more incident like the savage butchery of Lee Rigby the Government's lack of action WILL cause a a back-lash which will make the 2011 London Riots look like a teddy bears picnic party.

The Muslim Community constantly plead excuses - but following the Rotherham Report we know this vile sect HARBOURS, covers-up, aids and abets MUCH evil.

Our MPs haven't even got the GUTS to challenge Muslim females swanning around The Queen's Highways in burkhas - disguised like effing Afghani jihadists - so WHAT - FFS - is all this nonsense about cancelling passports...???

Jesus wept - and didn't he just !!!

Look what its taken to get the Muslim paedophiles out in the open. People will only put up with so much before they start to want to take matters into their own hands. You cant single out one religion for special treatment, anonymity and immunity from arrest with out all the other people wanting to know why. There is one law for all and it is not acceptable not to include the special people in case you are accused of racism. Over 1400 girls have been used and abused by these paedophiles while the authorities sat back and facilitated it. 100 babies have been born to the victims and all have been taken away. What message does that send out to the world. That shameless top cop who refuses to resign should be in his cell eating prison food now instead of planning his next luxury holiday on his £85,000 a year pay packet.

Now that the government have been shamed into taking action against Muslim paedophile rape gangs I think the whole multicultural bubble is about to burst.

No longer will people have to keep quiet about FGM, forced marriage etc etc, and you can count on a certain sector of the community seeing that as an attack on their race / religion / culture.

And we all know what they do when their warped ideology comes under scrutiny.

I think that since 7/7 people have seen and heard enough from and about muslims. Grooming gangs in various towns and cities, Trojan Horse schools, halal food foisted upon the population unknowingly, demands and appeasements, prisons bowing to their requirements at Ramadam and fridays, no go areas for non muslims in towns and cities. The government has only itself to blame if people take matters into their own hands.

No, the people of the UK are far too placid and happy with the establishment and how the elite rules over them, with jackboot firmly on their backs. That's why the current LibLabCON govt will permanently reside over them..... Them being the frightened ones, with weak minds and stains on their souls..... they'll go to hell in a hand cart rather than risk a bit of change that's needed.

The Security Services and law enforcement Agencies will deal with this matter. The British public should carry out their normal business and not read too much into Media reports or postings like this one.

Stop trying to stir it. Thank you.
