Well yeah. Even though Gir is a robot, he came from an alien planet. Alien can be used as an adjective so Gir would be an alien robot.

More specifically, an alien robot. Even more specifically, a defunct, garbage-filled SIR unit the Tallest gave to Zim in order to prepare him for his "special mission."
