Why do people say that ISIS is as bad as Adolph Hitler's regime?
Casualties in World War II
The most destructive war in all of history, its exact cost in human lives is unknown, but casualties in World War II may have totaled 50 million service personnel and civilians killed. Nations suffering the highest losses, military and civilian, in descending order, are:
USSR: 42,000,000
Germany: 9,000,000
China: 4,000,000
Japan: 3,000,000
I can't wait for these educated answers I am going to get. Please feel free to tell me that Hitler is not a Mad Man or a Sociopath or he is not evil and we can't know what he is as it is too long ago as I have been hearing a lot of that lately from pseudo intelletuals

OK, you have my attention and I find this an interesting question.
As Nemesis says "bad" is a relitive thing. In it's most basic form I suspect that ISIS is a bit "more bad" than the Nazis. But this is for one reason only; the practice of "convert or die." When the Nazis took over a region, they rounded up the undesirables (Jews, the Roma, homosexuals, Communists and resistance fighters) and sent them to concentrations camps. Some went straight to extermination camps. Sometimes they were simply lined up and shot. ISIS always kills undesirables on the spot. They sometimes do it in a much more grizzly way, and distribute the video for propaganda purposes. The Nazis, for the most part, tried to keep their exterminations a secret to the extent of setting up a model, showpiece concentration camp - Theresienstadt.
Still, that does not make ISIS much worse than the Nazis. In this interpretation of the word "bad," it is the intent. The basic intent of the two groups is not very different. ISIS wants to kill anyone who is not a member of their particular branch of Islam and the Nazis wanted to kill anyone who was considered racially inferior. The one advantage there, is you can convert and proclaim your allegiance to Allah and Sunni Islam but you can not change your genetic background. So if you are a Jew picked up by the Nazis in 1942, you're cooked (pardon the pun).
The next interpretation of "bad" is the threat to the civilized world. Here is where the Nazis really stand out. ISIS can't hold a candle to that threat. The Nazis had a large, heavily populated, resource rich homeland with a long military history. The German people are superb craftsman, scientists, engineers and have an excellent work ethic. ISIS has none of this. They couldn't conquer the world, much less a continent, unless the rest of the world lay down and surrendered without a fight. When I look at the technological development of Nazi Germany's weapons of war, sometimes I wonder how we beat them. They had the first cruise and intercontinental ballistic missiles for cripes sake! Thank God they were barking up the wrong tree when it came to the A-bomb. ISIS is soon to face a military coalition of ten countries. I have no doubt that they will be defeated soundly and in quick order. However many in their ranks will disperse and continue with isolated terror attacks.
Would ISIS do what the Nazis did if they could? Yes, I believe they would - much of it anyway. I doubt they would perform medical experiments on prisoners. They have no interest in such things as far as I can tell.
But to answer your question simply:
Because they don't know enough about Germany during the National Socialist period. There really isn't much of a comparison. They see a group committing horrific acts and immediately the old black and white footage of Dachau, Bergen Belsen and Auschwitz comes to mind. That represents to them pure evil as does the video of Steven Sotloff and James Foley being beheaded.
Coda:
"Please feel free to tell me that Hitler is not a Mad Man or a Sociopath or he is not evil and we can't know what he is as it is too long ago as I have been hearing a lot of that lately from pseudo intelletuals "
I have read that modern psychologists do not regard Hitler as clinically insane. I beg to differ. He was clearly obsessed, paranoid and delusional. Plus he had a huge ego. He was mentally ill if, for no other reason, he believed he could defeat the USSR while fighting in western Europe and Africa.
Sociopath? Probably. He expected Germans to fight to the last man and institute a "scotched Earth" program upon defeat - all for his glory. Evil? If not, then what is?

We are talking about the THREAT of ISIS intent if left unchecked. ISIS wants to make a Caliphate out of the Middle East, which includes the destruction of Israel. Their methods are brutal, submit or die. For those who do submit, they also must convert or die. I doubt they will give any Jews they come across that option though. Moderate and/or secular Muslim countries do see them as a serious threat. They will not stop there. They are making no qualms about doing the same to Europe or America. Fanatics are the most dangerous, they will find a way to make their rhetoric come true, no matter how long it takes.
All this has a lot in common with the Fanaticism of Hitler and Nazi movement. The good news is that, as a military force, they are no where near able to slug it out with even a 2nd rate army....yet, provided it doesn't cut and run. The bad news is that the end game will dissolve into typical terrorism that will take a long time to mop up.

ISIS is not as bad as Hitler, who ever claims this is completely confused in eh head. Hitler killed most of Jewish population, because he didn't think them worthy enough to live. ISIS HAS TEKN OUT NOT EVEN 1/1000 OF TEH SAME FRACTION OF PEOPLE. If we are deciding upon 'who is more bad' then we need to look to statistics not our personal opinion and emotions. in fact, the US has carried out worse deeds, the only difference is that they are broadcasting it and the US covered it up.
emotion should never cloud anyone's thinking, and before speaking people should know what they are talking about because someone is going to be sitting on the other side believing every word.

Just because they have not yet had as much success as Hitler doesn't mean they are not just as bad. Anyone that beheads people who are not of the religion they belong to, and uses terror to control people is just as bad as Hitler. The numbers are not that important. They may not have YET killed as many people, but they are killing as many as they can, and for the same reasons. At one point Nazis had only killed a few million people too, when they first took over Germany and started their campaign of terror. All evil has to start somewhere. ISIS is just getting started. The NAzis were cruel, fanatical men, and so is ISIS.
Anyhow, who cares if Hitler was better or worse. he is gone, so we don't need to worry over him. ISIS is here, and we need to make them gone. Regardless how they compare to Hitler they are very, very, very bad. Its like asking if Ebola is as bad as liver Cancer. Who cares? They both kill you.
I am a bit confused as to how you added the losses of Germany and Japan in there….They WERE the Nazis, and followed Hitler. He didn't kill them, They helped him kill others.

People who have answered this question so far understand nothing of Western Civilization. Nothing. In order to justify beheadings and what you are seeing on the news now, you are totally ignoring the mahem countless tens of millions of lives lost and destroyed 80 years ago.
The Versailles treaty left Germany, the hub of Western Civilization. The Holy Roman Empire, if you will, in the dirt burning marks to keep warm. Hitler took these people in a matter of 4 years and gave them, with his insane charisma, a sense of false pride through the "blood" of their "Aryan" ancestors
Therefore they were on a quest to destroy anything that was not pure and to build again the German Fatherland. Hitler Maimed Baked Killed, Performed mad experiments on women and men for fertility and otherwise. He killed retarded children he killed old people. The list goes on and on. You can't imagine the horror's he did. To say I am as bad as ISIS by bringing him up is insane.
You need to realize that these insane terrorists can be routed out because they are fanatical insurrectionists that were left over. The Conspiracy theories need to stop.

They would be if they had the intellect & organizational skills. But since they lack many attributes that contributed to Germany's heinous strengths, they pose less a threat.

People say much less nasty things than ISIS are like Hitler. There's a whole logical fallacy devoted to irrelevant invocations of Hitler, reductio ad Hitlerum.

BAD/EVIL are relative and subjective terms.
And aren't necessarily quantified in numbers.
Hitler's EVIL is WEIGHED just as much by his attempt to exterminate Jews - as ISIS jihadists try to wipe out any Infidels who resist them.
Using terror - and a black flag instead of the swastika.
Methinks the comparison is entirely appropriate.

from what i've seen so far seems they are much worse than hitler.
Isis seem to hate pretty much everyone. if they had the strength and chance im sure they would kill everyone who did no convert to their perticular views

Any group or organization that beheads, torchers, starves, destroyes, burns, shoots, any of it's people or properties are as bad as hitler'sNumbers don't erase the act.
