That he had is hands up and was unarmed when shot has never been in dispute. That the 'confrontation' was started by the cop's demand that they leave the street is not in dispute. So 'more' evidence of that fact does not change the fact or persuade those who are immune to facts. be that as it may there is plenty in dispute - including the nature of the physical altercation between the cop and brown immediately prior to the shooting. And yes, race is a factor here - even if the incident itself does not have a racial component or motivation. Quite clearly the citizens of Ferguson and the Cops are more enemies than friends and quite clearly the dividing line is race. The perception is that a nearly all white police force treats the citizens of a majority black municipality with distrust, distain and unwarranted brutality. That may not be an accurate description but the anecdotal evidence suggests it is. And it is not hard to imagine that if it had been two white teenagers were walking down the middle of the street the cop's instruction to them may have carried a different tone. In any event any teenager barked at by a cop is likely to talk back. That might bring a bunch of trouble but It should never get you killed.

The grand jury will need to review it along with all the other testimony and evidence.
What really bothers me here is that racist liberals have no category for the cop simply messing up and, due to inadequate training or whatever, overreacted. In other words, it is entirely possible that the cop overreacted, but that race played no part. Liberals won't even discuss that possibility.

You are using CNN as your link, I would be much more likely to believe that it could be true if it was another source. After all, they already had witness testifying on live tv to a national audience that have been shown, to have not even been in the area.

Nothing at all. I will wait for the facts and justice to prevail.
Eric Holder's race baiting notwithstanding.

The same thing I've been saying. I say that liberals would have made more progress if they'd made this about police brutality instead of RACE. You guys DO like progress, right? Or is that just something you like to say?

The same thing I have said all along. Let the investigation finish, and if the officer is guilty then prosecute him, if Brown is at fault then so be it.

Here's an idea:
let the grand jury look at all the evidence including the sworn statements of all the eye witnesses and let them decide wether to charge the officer.

I say that's one more account added to the four or five that already exist....almost all of which contradict one another...
...which is why adults have things called "laws" and "due process"... instead of just reacting on the most base level to the latest shiny toy dropped into your play pen..

Wow!!!! A couple guys WORKING AT THE TIME who don't even claim to have seen the whole thing and who directly contradict several PROVED points!!
THAT sure is the case-cracker.

Don't believe everything you hear. There were witnesses saying he did not have his hands in the air. Unless there's a video of the event we might never know.
