Is this eczema?
I've had an itch behind my knees, around my ankle, and sometimes my elbow for the last week or so. There is no rash present until I scratch, and then it turns into what looks like goosebumps. And the area becomes very red.
I've also had an instance of this on my finger, last year.
thanks

You would absolutely have to have a physician diagnose that as excema. Lots of factors contribute to our skin being dry or irritated. Make sure that you aren't using any new soaps or detergents that could be too drying to you skin, and also that you're keeping your skin hydrated with moisturzer especially after you shower. But if it does not go away then visit a doctor and if it is in fact eczema then you would receive a cream to help. Eczema is usually dry and can be flaky though .
