I brought aveeno active natural skin relief moisturizing repair cream. I apply it once, for 2 days. But it sting's a bit every now n'then. Does that mean it's working?

When a product causes an inflamed are to sting, it means its making the problem worse. There only two things that work for inflamed skin: leave it alone (do not scrub it, so not use any chemicals on it, only rinse with warm water); or apply hydrocortisone cream.
