What has Yahoo Answers done, and can it be fixed?
They used to have a choice of Recent and Popular. Now it has been replaced with Discover and Answer. Answer will not show me questions that have had any previous answer.
Is there any way to get back the good settings?
I have noticed that going to Yahoo Canada gets me the better format. However, now it shows a much smaller number of questions.

Y!A page is under Makeover. Explore the new page format part by part to understand it [where to find what u want]. There are still some bugs & errors to be fixed. There is a "customize settings" option available on the right side of the Discover & Answer tab. Check all & save.
Temporary Remedy: If u click on Canada or UK, u wil b able to work on the previous format w/o much fuss.
UPDATE: Even I hv d same issue wid questions. We can't do anything right now [frm our side] as the work is still UNDER PROGRESS. Only Y!A team can inform us as to when we can expect a proper access wid NIL issues.
Note: Either hv patience or take a holiday for sometime from Y!A. ;)
