Do you try to work things out when in a relationship or do you give up easier now that you're older?

I am 22, been with my man for 5 years,

he cheated on me, got a girl pregnant, lied about having facebook, and we agreed I wouldn't talk to guys he wouldn't talk to girls, and last night I found out that hes been lieing, been talking to this girl whos been sending him pictures, taking her out on his bike, and I wanted to fight for my relationship, I didn't want to just give up, but ive been trying for months things were so perfect, till he cheated on me the night I had our 2nd son, and it went on for idk how long, and now he tells me if I mention if hes cheating he just gonna go do it,

it hurts, I tried to change so I wouldn't push him away, or fight, I would control my emotions, but now last night he told me he does take the girl out just as friends, but I know there has to be something.

he is controlling, and jealous, but if I get jealous he wants to leave me. so I tried to put up with it, sticking it out, staying by his side, but I just feel like giving up, he isn't putting effort in, and clearly he is bored and wants something else. so let him go right

I think when u get older u idk u can try to put up with it, ur smarter to work it through, but then also ur older so u know better what crap u want to put up with u know

I work things out, I don't like carrying a grudge
