When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was that for past or present sins?

Update:

How's that worked so far? Who's going to die next for the sins that are racking up? Does the all-loving God decide who dies next?

When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, it was for ALL our sins, past, present and future.

    ----

    1 Peter 3:18

Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.

Past, present, and future as long as we admit our sins, ask for forgiveness, and repent.

Well, if He was also a Time Lord, I guess time has no meaning for Him.

As the crucifixion would then be the Event Horizon for all souls.
