No shaving does not make hair anywhere on your body grow faster or thicker. I saw a you tube video a few days ago who had shaved his chest and he ended up with a infected chest hair once it started regrowing. I have a hairy chest and ever lady I have been with loves to run beer fingers through the hair. No my pubes I have shaved mine off for years.

It will make it grow thicker for sure. It's okey to shave it, if you prefer being shaved. But otherwise if you don't have much chest hair i don't think you should bother shaving.

It won't make it thicker; that's just an old wives' tale.

Try braiding it instead. That will thin it out.
