Do drugs make people look older than what they really are?

I mean take Bill Murray for example he is 64 years old but looks much older than that! It also appears that he aged very quickly! He was in the movie ground hogs day which was taped in 1993 and he looked very young, now its only been about 21 years and he looks almost unrecognizable. And yes i read that he does drugs and drinks. But in general do you think drugs age people?
