Are Mechanic´s Workshops like this ANYWHERE else in the world ?

Or are Bolivian Mechanics the most Shameless Degenerate Perverts on the face of the Earth ?

I live in Bolivia. Mechanics here have Pornographic posters of naked women plastered all over their workshop walls.

I have often seen women with their 6 year-old daughters take their car to the mechanic´s workshop to change a tyre or something .. How do you think they feel ?

It´s Disgusting really .. and I´m a Guy BTW

I worked in a crash repair centre in London in the 1990's where the mechanics had posters of spreadeagled women all over the place. Women are objects to people like this, they don't even stop to consider a child.

I think it's a blue collar thing. I bet your local dentist doesn't look the same. I personally drop my car off in a nice office type set-up for it's service. I think we've moved a bit beyond that in Australia, although I've never been in the actual work shop.

When I was a child we used to break into various places - one was a public transport garage - for the busses.

the walls were lined with pornography. ha - bizarre.

this wouldve been circa 1990 ... and in London. I like to think things have moved on from then - Im sure theres a law against that nowadays - and hopefully attitudes have changed also.

It used to be very common in the back working areas of many shops here in the US. Today, that's unacceptable. Management knows people are offended by it and that they'll lose business over it.

It doesn't really bother me that much that such places have sexualized photos of women in their workplace. We make too much of a deal about people's bodies in the U.S. We're so accepting of violence and don't care about kids seeing violence nearly as much as we care if they spot a nipple or a scantily clad lady.
