When will Obama secure the border?

What Canadian even wants to cross the border anymore. You don't get shot going for poutine at 711 in Canada.

Under Obama, illegal immigration has dropped to record lows, going negative for a few months back in 2010. Deportations are at record highs. The border is actually more secure now that is has ever been.

President Obama has our borders more secure than any of his predecessors (see whitehouse.gov and click on Immigration). Go back and review all of the strong steps taken to secure the U.S. borders that began with the appointment of former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano to head Homeland Security.

You might also want to look up President Obama's "Operation Coyote" project that began in April 2014---a joint effort by ICE and Jeh Johnson of Homeland Security to infiltrate, then capture human traffickers at the southern border (some of these traffickers former evangelical Blackwater operatives turned mercenaries for hire by far-rightwing Heritage Foundation and other GOP-connected extremist groups). On June 22, 2014 as President Obama departed Texas to fly to a California fundraiser---something the GOP propaganda specialists tried to use to denigrate our hard-working, nation-saving, auto-industry-rescuing, jobs-creating, borders-securing, insurers-reforming, economy-growing, revenues-generating, deficit-slashing, banks-reregulating President Obama in an election year---the Operation Coyote team was given the go-ahead by President Obama to make 192 arrests of these human traffickers, confiscating their equipment and ill-gotten gains in multiple bank accounts while also rounding up their U.S. contacts.

All of the 57,000 children from Central America that were dumped by Heritage Foundation-hired mercenaries as an "October surprise" in an election year were STOPPED at the border and all of them were housed as required by the 2008 Bush/Cheney-signed law regarding Central American unaccompanied minor aliens (UMAs). President Obama asked the Republican-controlled House of Representatives to AMEND this Bush/Cheney law so that the Central American children could all be sent home (the way Mexican kids can be), but the Republicans failed to act and chose instead to leave Washington for an undeserved five-week "vacation." Republicans are the ones who should be funding the operations and amending that 2008 law. Direct your hostilities towards the GOP.

Well first he needs to make the 11 million here who are here illegally legal citizens of the U.S.

Then he should secure the border once that's done.

It matters not what the President does on the border, the Cons. will never be satisfied.

When the GOP stop playing both ends against the middle. They want to play everybody.
