T.V. shows where women are degraded?
I'm trying to find a show to compare and contrast with buffy the vampire slayer. Like a show with a male protagonist where females are protrayed as weak etc.

First thing that comes to mind is Supernatural and I've only watched like 2 episodes so I can't say that the men are portrayed as weak. I will admit that Xander never really took off(power wise) which is why so much of the fan fiction for Buffy is about Xander getting powered up. Much as I think Joss Whedon's politics are retarded, I do think the man is a creative genius and I do have to admit that from time to time, some of the men in Buffy could hold their own. That farmer/ demon hunter/ love interest guy, Angel, Spike, maybe a few others.
But in today's age, finding a show with a powerful male protagonist and weak female characters (all of them) is going to be some work.
You're not by chance just trying to do a biased feminist hatchet job are you? Some kind of Sarkeezian mini-me deal?

I really can't think of any.. in porn, but thats not a TV show, obviously. maybe in religious shows?
