why wont people believe im mexican?
hey, im 17 years old and im 100% Mexican. many people such as friends, adults, and girls always say "really you don't look Mexican??" "thought you were Italian or puerto rican" etc. i have long wavy black hair, my eyes are light brown, and my skin color is more white than brown,. i play sports and i have a really good physique from it. many people tell me i look like that Harry Styles guy from One direction. my question is how can this be? how can i not look my race at ALL? how did i come out so handsome when my mom and dad have regular genetics? anyways hope i gave enough information. thxs for your time :)

I will say what I say if your folks are your biological parents. One or both of them may not be after all! Are you sure?
As long as you are sure - somewhere way back when you have had white ancestors and with you - the traits just lined up. All over the Americas there is blend of white, native american and african races. Spain ruled mexico for years and there was a lotnif intermixing going on. In Brazil - the three races are so interbred that parents are never really sure how there kids will be. Just last year a set if girl twin were born and one girl looked like she was white with a tan and the other looked more like a light skin black person.
So with you it looks like you have mainly natice american stock but the white parts jist happened ro flair up.
