    To determine the density, we need to determine the volume. If we assume that Saturn is a sphere, we can use the following equation to determine its volume.

    Volume = 4/3 * π * r^3 = 4/3 * π * (6 * 10^7)^3 = 2.88 * 10^23 * π

    This is approximately 9.05 * 10^23 m^3

    Density = 5.64 * 10^24 ÷ (2.88 * 10^23 * π)

    This is approximately 6.32 kg/m^3.

    Wow!! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. I'm double checking an answer for a student I'm helping and I don't want to get it wrong for him. I can't believe such arrogance. I thought the love of science was having a desire to spread knowledge and diminish ignorance....not destroy a person's curiosity. How dare you?! How dare you try and take that away from someone. It's a good thing there is no cure for curiosity Michelle. Intelligence is a nice gift to have but it isn't the gatekeeper. I feel nothing but sadness for you. That's all you probably have - a self-imposed superiority where you mock those who seek to understand. You are an elitist. I know someone else famous who had the very same dogma Michelle. Try not being so rude: http://youtu.be/soM_jGnCPp4 I bet it suits you better :-)
