Anyone feels older sportsbike are more fun to ride ?

I just feel like the older sportsbike like the 2006 Niinja ZX6R, are more fun to ride because theyre more challenging to control.

I like the far more responsive modern sport bike....but it does come with a cost of being 'tweekie'.

I do miss the large muscle input and athletic feeling of being an 'animal' but I still enjoy the resulting tighter turns much more with a modern sport bike format.

This could vary by manufacturer, development, and year produced.

I'm riding early 1980s sort of sports cycles, can go over speed limit easy. And my Goldwing is a 1000 model made tail end of 1970s with a ignition upgrade. All paid for, not financed at time of purchase and have given me fair service - and they are newer than the old BMW /2s that were discontinued 1969 that were sold to collector 5 years back after storage space lost Older sports cycle can be more fun because you have money enough to fill gas tank- don't have to pay bank enough to go a thousand miles every month. Watch out what you call old- young poster probably still in diapers when was riding Harleys. Teasing Alert!

I have an Older CBR 954 and a Newer Ducati 1098

The Duck is far more fun on track but horrendous on the road

The CBR is far more fun on the roads but under powered/unstable on track

I feel so antique that someone could consider a 2006 bike old. Refresh the suspension and brakes, new tyres and it will keep up with any more recent bike.

I like my 2000 ZRX1100 fun to ride and get a lot of thumbs up from other riders.
