Why do foreign people get upset bout christmas?

Why do people who've moved to western countries get upset about christmas being on display? I only ask because I've started to realize that celebrating Christian holidays is a some-what touchy subject in Christian countries. If western people started moving to the east and started complaining about their holidays it wouldn't be tolerated.

They come here for change but they don't really want to embrace changes.

Yes. I too have seen new immigrants (technically everyone, even "Indigenous" people immigrated to Canada at some point) make a fuss over Christmas displays. In my opinion, it is just stupidity. Everyone should be able to celebrate the holidays as they wish. If that means not celebrating, great. If that means putting up a huge Jesus sculpture on your lawn, and saying "Merry Christmas" to everyone, that is great too. Being tolerant is so important. I accept when someone says, "Happy Holidays", "Merry Christmas", or "Happy Hanukkah". Christmas is about loving and giving, it is something that should be celebrated.

Intolerance brings about hate. Tolerance and acceptance brings peace.
