What does Proverbs 14:1 mean?

This scripture is stating what a god wife/ mother does for her household. She builds it up,not tear it down.

There are a number of ways a woman can build up the household.

1) By supporting her husband. Work as a united front with her husband to maintain order and peace in the household.

2) Help maintain the family finances, stick to the budget. In some areas the women are in charge of "budgeting" or maintain family finances.

3) Assist in the rearing of the children. Make sure they have a spiritual education along with a secular one.

4) making the home a place of comfort and safety.

I'm sure there are others. A mom is an important role in a family.

It probably means that a woman who loves Adonai and keeps his commandments being a wise woman will flourish with her family while one that does not keep his commandments and goes away from his paths will find destruction and tear down her family in the process by taking them to a path that is not that of Adonai.

A wise woman will support, up-build herself and family but a foolish women or man do nothing but try to destroy of family life in their speech conduct are action. Almighty God , Jehovah would be displeased with that course of life

Wisdom always builds and foolishness always destroys.

It simply means if you do not believe God,

You are a corrupt fool who does not know the truth.
