How do I get rid of this virus?
My computer has had a virus, maybe even several, for quite a while now. All of the anti-virus and malware-remover programs I've tried using say there's nothing wrong, but Internet Explorer windows pop up randomly and new tabs open in Google Chrome whenever I use it. The website it takes me to is http://click.cpvredirect.com/redirect.php?ID=59617... I will do ANYTHING to get rid of it.

I would open Internet Explorer, clear your cache and browsing history, then check under Privacy if Pop-Up blocker is on. Set Pop-up blocker to Block All Pop Ups. Also Override Automatic Cookie Handling, set First Party Cookies to "prompt", and third party cookies to "block". Check "always allow session cookies". If possible, use the same settings on Google Chrome, since Chrome is the most likely suspect for getting viruses. Then download Malwarebytes Free Anti Malware software, install and run it. If that doesn't help, try using Windows Defender

Well, for one thing, try clearing your cookies on your browsers if you haven't yet. If you haven't tried Malwarebytes' programs, try them. Also, if you can, try thinking back to when the problem started and see if you can do a system restore to before then. (This will get rid of any programs you installed in the meantime, so if there's anything important, make sure you can still install it and write down any programs you need. To find the system restore function, go to the search bar in the start menu and search for it.) Also, make sure you haven't installed anything weird and didn't install bloatware with programs. (Ex. installing a game that installs a random toolbar with it.) If you have any weird toolbars, uninstall that.

It is not a virus, my friend. That is just an advertisement. If you want to eliminate use adblock. Install in browser mozilla or google chrome and others.

Please follow the below steps :
1. Install Avast Antivirus and get your system thoroughly scanned at boot-time.
2. Remove plugins and add ons you dont need.
3. Remove default page from internet options and keep it blank.
4. Make sure not to click any unwanted pop-ups or links when you are browsing.
Hope that helps!!
