Years ago I created a You Tube username and account, but never used it. Recently got an email from You Tube regarding this, somehow I was able to create a new username and account associated with the same email address. Recently I wanted to upload something to You Tube, got an error message stating I needed an account with Google. I do not want a Google account or Gmail address. Now I find not only can't I get into You Tube, I'm unable to cancel the You Tube accounts because of the weird software, which keeps re-directing me to create a new password, over and over. I looked at all the help pages, still can't figure it out. According to You Tube, in order to create a new account, one must create a Google account first. I checked with Google, there is no account associated with my email address.

Thus, I can't get into You Tube to cancel the account, like an "infinity" sign or never-ending figure 8, You Tube keeps responding to reset the password. Anyone have any idea how to resolve this ?

Using a windows computer, how can I put a linux o.s. on a blank hard drive ? Don't wanna use the linux o.s. on an actual computer; wanna experiment with an HD DVR that uses an old, rudimentary version of linux (2.4 or something). Pretty sure I can download the linux o.s. on line. Do I have to have a working linux based computer to do this ? Have no experience whatsoever with anything but Windows.

one particular spammer from GMail or Google Groups, which I'm not a member of either, keeps sending me numerous spams messages everyday, which go to either the Yahoo Trash or Spam folders. I tried emailing Yahoo, filling out forms, added the sender many times to my Blocked Address list, no matter what, still get this same spammer every day. This past weekend I was off-line, by Monday I had 93 spam messages from this person or persons. It's driving me crazy !

The messages are all in Arabic, btw and are directed at Google Groups members.

Anyone can help me get rid of this plague, please let me know

I have been getting this ctfmon.exe virus every day on my Win XP Pro computer..... I deleted it several times, used Malwarebytes & Hitman to remove it, yet it still keeps coming back

I also disabled it in msconfig, the next boot-up it re-appears

Does anyone know how to get rid of it permanently ? somewhere in a Registry Key ? thanks

my HP dv6216us laptop has an AMD Turion 64 single core CPU. Can I replace it with a dual- core Turion ?
