Used ear wax remover solution. made ears more clogged?

Update:

I used remover drops, but now my ear feels more clogged after applying the drops and rinsing the ear out. Does anyone know why/what I can do?

The key question is: are you suffering any hearing loss (even minor hearing loss) as a result of your clogged ear? If so you should see an ENT or an audiologist to have your ears professionally cleaned. If not, most clogged ears will resolve themselves in the span of a few weeks, at most. If you ears are still clogged and you suffer no hearing loss the best solution is olive oil. Put a few drops of olive oil in the ear before going to bed, tilting the head so the olive oil goes into the ear canal. Do not sleep so that side of the head is facing down. Do this for three nights and then on the third morning make sure you take a warn shower and rinse the ear thoroughly. Only use olive oil, no other oil is acceptable.

If after that you still have a clogged ear then go see a doctor. You likely have a fungal infection.

Sometimes you just have to go in and have them professionally cleaned. I personally try to rinse them in the shower, pat them dry with a towel, and then use an instrument from walgreens (with a safety block, so I don't go too far in) to remove what I can while it's still damp. Don't use Q tips, as that only compacts it more. The remover drops can leave residue, and that's probably what you're dealing with now. Try rinsing with water again, and if they don't feel better after they've dried, either try the drops one more time or schedule an appointment with a doctor.
