That is the way Yahoo Answers is now, just live with the ace very few give best answer credit. Guess they do not know they get 3 points for doing so.

Sure. No one owes it to you to choose you as best answer. I rarely get best answer, but that's mainly because I don't shoot for that, I shoot for giving my honest opinion (which often is not popular with other participants of this forum, to which I say I totally can understand that).
