What color should I dye my hair?

I'm leaning towards a dark purple or red. I'm biracial, so I have tan skin. I have dark brown eyes and black hair. Just in case a small description will help. Thanks ahead of time!

I think ted looks fantastic with your coloring! Start with deep red lowlight with hair dye if you want a darker color. Something like a 2R (means dark red) or even 1R. If you like that then do it again. One thing to keep in mind is that red bases shades fades the fastest of all colours! If you only lowlight you can do it more often without damaging hair or more easily change it if you don't like it.

  • Honestly I think red hair looks the best on tan skin. But if you're leaning more towards purple, I think you can even go lighter than a dark purple and dye your hair violet which will suit your skin very well.

I'd advise you to not dye your hair colors like that as the chemicals might damage your hair, but since it's not an answer to your question, I think red will complement your skintone better.

I think with tan or dark skin red would look great but I personally would go with purple since it's a cool color that seems to last longer

My opinion would be you coloring Dark Red instead of Dark Purple. Look better.

Cheap dye jobs usually turn out awful. Unless you don't mind spending a couple hundred every few months, keep it natural.
