What does this mean?

I've been friends with this guy for over 8 years now. since we've been assigned to sit next to each other in band every year. We've recently connected really well because we agreed to help each other with our crushes.

However, last concert we were talking and he was making a joke about his penis, which I laughed at (since I have a boyish sense of humor). After we stopped laughing he said, "See, this is why it'd be weird if we ever" and then he stopped himself and refused to tell me what he was going to say. I assumed it had something to do with us dating, since we always make jokes about us being a couple (dating, married, even porn stuff).

What does this all mean? What do you think he was going to say?

I agree that he probably meant if you ever dated. He also could've meant if you ever had sex since you were talking about his penis in perticular. I think the fact that he was uncomfortable finishing his thought was because he thinks of you as such a good friend and he didn't want to make it awkward between you by bringing up the topic of something more.

I think that he was going to say something along that line and he should be considerate it is hard to find a girl with a boyish humor I bet he likes you and if you ask him out I give it a 9/10 he will say yes
