Is there any way for me to tone my body WITHOUT losing my bum?

I've always had a small frame and bum when I was a teenager. I was a size 0-3. Now at the age of 21, my hips have expanded, and I actually have a butt now, lol! As of now, I'm in a size 5-6. BUT I'm worried about gaining a lot of weight. I still have a small frame. Everything on me except for my hips and butt are fairly small. But being overweight runs on my moms side of the family. So I want to get a jump start on preventing any type of weight gain. I think my weight favors my dads side more.. most people on his side are small. Soooo... how can I tone my body WITHOUT losing my bum? ? Or is that even possible? I wasn't blessed with a big chest, so I've kinda come to love the way my backside has filled out.

    Lift weights! Squatting, deadlifting heavy is all very good to gain some muscle in the legs and bum. Women are usually afraid of touching weights but they have great benefits. I suggest you watch Nikki Blackketter on YouTube, she's skinny but has a really nice bum, adding cardio after your workouts can help you burn off fat but the lifting will keep your bum looking good ;)
