how to treat eczema?
I've had eczema since i was 6 (im now 17) and it's gotten progressively worse over the years, everytime i've been to the doctors they give me the same moisturizer, moderate potency steroid cream, shower emollient and anti histamine tablets. I apply the steroid once a day and the moisturizer 3 times a day. but, they only stop it from getting worse, but dont actually make it any more bearable. The itch is still there and i scratch until i bleed every night. My high school prom in a few months and i dont want my eczema to be visible as its currently all over my back, front, shoulders and a bit on my arms and legs too. What exactly can i do to help clear it up? Xx

After you take a shower pat off don't rub like you probably usually do.I use dove soap and it really kind of keeps mine under control most of the time. don't stay out in the cold a lot with eczema our skin gets really bad this time of year. try putting wash cloths on your arms and legs and back if they start itch but don't keep them on for long and just continue moisturizing if you stop your skin will basically go crazy (happened to me itched for days) hope this helps :) good luck!
