How to deal with razor bumps from manscaping?

Any suggestions on how to prevent razor bumps, etc from shaving chest? Also? I got some nicks and cuts from previous shaves, as well as bumps that never went away, any suggestions on any cream to use to make the appearance of the scars less or disappear?

    Stop shaving what shouldn't be shaved. 

    Unless you like ingrown hairs and pimples on your coin purse.

    Be a real man and stop shaving and then rip it off instead, alternative use a flame thrower?
