If God healed amputees and we knew that He healed amputees, is there any disease or condition we humans would try to fix?

I thought we weren't suppose to fix things. Because the land is cursed and Adam was to toil the land until his hands bleed and all his sons and Eve was to have pain in child birth and all her daughters. So to me we were never suppose to have machines do all they do for us or make things so our lives could be easier. That was the whole point of the curse upon the land and man. Yet things get better and better, and the curse of the land is fading away.

What are Christians going to do when life extension hits the market in a couple of decades and we head toward eternal life, which shouldn't be possible either, but scientists say it's coming, just a matter of time. This makes no sense if God cursed the land and none of this is suppose to happen.

That seems a reasonable argument.

On the other hand, the god of salamanders seems to be able to heal amputees without having that problem. I guess the god of salamanders is just more powerful than the Christian God.

We are overcomers and hang on to life in the most dire of circumstances. Not only hang on to life but become stronger and more gracious to those who also fall behind.

We gain compassion and wisdom from our frailties.

Lets just say God was to step in and fix all our problems... How much would be our achievements be worth?....

It would be like living in a haunted house, where all our mistakes are eliminated by a "ghost living in the attic" scenario.

Is that's God's excuse for not doing anything at all? Excuse accepted.
