Can someone describe a terrifying giant/monster/ogre?

Here is what I have wrote "As Jack looked up and observed the land, he saw a giant stone cold path, leafless trees lining the track.

The wind was blowing and pounding hard against his face. The sun was now setting and the sky had a hazy red tint.

There to greet him was a............"

I need a really good terrifying way to describe a giant/monster/ogre.

    ......a boney beast with the black leathery skin and eyes so white there was no visible pupil he had a crazed look on his face as he grinned at me widely with crooked human teeth.

    (this seemed kind of cool to me)
