Are payroll deducted health insurance premiums taken from pre-tax money or after taxes are with-held?

    Depends on the company. It's common for them to be pre-tax.

    Usually pre tax. Your paystub will show it.

    Generally....pretax.

    ask your payroll dept/benefits dept how your company does it - could be either way

    the health insurance you pay for with your employer is withheld from the gross amount
