I love it! All the "experts" attributed Dallas' success last season to the fact they were focusing on Murray and the running game, and now Darren McFailure will be the go-to guy next season.

    Goodbye playoffs.

    Goodbye winning record.

Hello Cowboys we all know and loathe.

It would have been worse for the team to pay him a lot of money, and then not have any left to use where we actually need the help, such as the defense. Another back may not get 1800 yds, but with the offensive line we have, Id feel just as good with a guy getting 1200-1300 and us have the money to fill the gaps on defense (Hardy for example). I love Murray, but he wont get near the production he did last year.

    Remains to be seen.

Will they have a top notch running game to protect Romo from his previous turnover issues?

And the ball control they enjoyed with the good running game also protected what was a so-so defense.

How will no Murray effect that?

They believe in their Offensive line and think anyone they put back there will play solid behind that line. It will be interesting next year to see how that works out for them. I personally hope it backfires and their run game is a thing of the past.

Jerry did not want to pay to keep Murray & Dez..

Jerry basically chose Dez over Murray.

It will be a bad move for the Cowboys. If they have no run game to rely on, well, we all know what happens when Tony Romo has to pass the ball all the time.

Do not worry Dallas fans. Goofy could run behind that offensive line.

  • They couldn't afford him. They were already in cap hell with his rookie contract there was no way they could keep him with him wanting 8 million a year.
